What?! A whole year has gone by already?! Our little baby is a toddler?!! I still can't believe it but our little Tatum is one! She had a wonderful Strawberry Shortcake birthday party with many family and friends and she was a perfectly behaved little girl. I think she knew everyone had come over for her so she soaked up as much attention as she could. :) She let everyone hold her, even boys! And she let two friends help her open her gifts, as she sat in her princess chair, and oooed and ahhhhed over each present. She even got a yummy strawberry cupcake with a candle on it, yummy! She had a wonderful first birthday!

Well, we have a climber in the house. Tatum learned that the stairs were not just for looking at but they can be climbed as well! She climbed the whole stair case and was very proud of herself for doing so. I guess this means we need a gate at the bottom of the stairs as well.

Tatum's first snow!

Tatum had her first experience in the snow last weekend when we went sledding up in Big Bear with a few friends. She loved sitting in the snow but that was about it. She screamed when her dad took her sledding and when I tried to put some snow up to her mouth, she gave me a dirty look. She had much more fun hanging with her BFF Mattie in the cabin we rented and chasing her GM Shauna around and around the couch. :) All in all, we had a wonderful trip!

Christmas is here!

Tatum had a fun filled season. She enjoyed going to the Irvine zoo to see all the animals, ride the train and become a snowman! Christmas day she loved ripping open all her presents and loved the tissue paper the most, what a great gift! Christmas is great, let's do it again! :)

Down for the count...

Tatum went up against the coffee table today and definitely lost the battle. She loves to pull herself up on the coffee table (or anything for that matter) and walk around it. She lost her balance and whacked her face into the table top on her way down and it left her with a scratch on the chin and a bloody upper lip. Poor baby but poor Mommy who freaked out when she saw blood! The first injury and I definitely didn't do well under pressure. But five minutes later Tatum is laughing and Mommy is ready for a nap from the stress. :) I better get ready because this is just the beginning...

Christmas is coming...

Tatum went to see Santa Claus yesterday and she was a bit apprehensive at first. But after a lot of encouragement and a few candy canes, Santa's elf was able to hold her and get a great shot with Santa! One of Tatum's BFFs Ellie was there as well and they both wore their pretty red dresses and black shoes, so cute!

Ride em' Cowgirl!!

Tatum got a bouncy horse from her Grandma for her baptism (because we all know how spiritual a ride on a horse can be) :) Her name is Holly and Tatum loves to ride her. Here's a short video of her spending some quality time with Holly... (just a note, the outfit she has on is one that Grandma brought her from Hungry, she's a Hungarian baby on horseback)
