Party at the McNally's

My mom has a few teacher friends that have been getting together for years. The gatherings have grown over the years as husbands, children and now grandchildren entered the picture. Here are some pics from the party this past Saturday.

Easter Time!

Tatum went to her first Easter egg hunt on Saturday at the Greentree park. She wasn't as interested in gathering the eggs as she was in looking at all the people and the pretty balloons.

And she was so happy that her BFF Mattie could come and hunt with her, they had a wonderful time.
Tatum also met the Easter Bunny, she wasn't much of a fan, maybe next year. :)


On Easter, we went out to brunch after church and then went to spend time with Great Uncle Tom, I think she felt he was as exciting as the Easter Bunny by the expression on her face. But look how much she's grown since her Easter picture last year, what a big girl!

Peek a boo!

Tatum gets so excited when Daddy gets home, she can't wait for him to sit down and play. Here, the two of them are playing peek a boo with a blanket. Tatum loves to look under things and gets so excited, as you can see from her expression. Yet another cheap way to have fun!

It's all about the box...

We got a Diaper Champ the other day and I'm in love with it; don't ever buy a Diaper Genie! Anyway, Tatum was more pleased with the box as you can see from these photos. Wow, the excitement one can have with a 1 year old. :)

Fun filled week in the life of Tatum

Wow, what an action packed week! It started with a play date with her San Diego BFF Ellie on Wednesday, such beautiful girls. Then another play date with her Irvine BFF Mattie on Friday, such busy bodies. A birthday celebration for Great Uncle Tom with Maracas, who could ask for more?! Then story time with Mattie and new BFF Sylvia on Saturday, not a lot of quiet and listening time though. And then a baby shower for Aunt Laura where Tatum made a new friend, herself! If this is her social schedule at one, I don't think I can keep up! :)

Family Fishing Day

Tatum went on her first fishing trip out to Cuyamaca Lake yesterday. It's about a 40 minute drive from our house but we were surprised to see snow on the ground out there! We stayed three hours, had lunch, played in the snow, and caught three fish! All in all, it was a wonderful day and Tatum was such a good girl. She played right through her nap and then conked out the second she hit her car seat. A hard day of fishing makes a girl tired. :)

In between the rain, we all went down to the park, and had a fun time on the swings and slide. Tatum loves to swing, especially if someone will sit in the "big kid" swing next to her. She loves the slide too but isn't to sure about going down it, she'd rather just sit at the edge on the bottom and squeal with delight. :)
