We all absolutely love Disneyland. If we lived closer, we would definitely be here more often. But since we don't get to Irvine that often anymore, we're striving to make it to Disney at least once a month. And even though this is our second season pass, there are still so many things we haven't done. Such as the ride above, the Story Time ride I think it's called. You ride this boat around and see different scenes from different Disney stories, cute. Ty decided as we were the next to board the boat that he would have nothing to do with the ride. I think it might be because the boat sails into the large mouth of a whale and he wasn't too sure about that. Anyway, we stood on the side and took a picture as Grandma, Tatum and Auntie Barbara enjoyed the ride.
And then Ty and I went over to enjoy yet another ride on the carousel. Ever since Tangled where they have a horse named Maximus in the movie, Ty has enjoyed this ride. He use to be so afraid of the carousel but I guess he's growing up. :)
Then Tatum, Ty and I got in line to see Rapunzel (and we were hoping Flynn would be with her too but not that day) while Grandma and Barbara went on It's a Small World. After a short 45 min. wait, we were invited in to Rapunzel's room and it was decorated just like her tower! She stood and talked to Tatum for a few minutes and I asked Ty to go talk to her but he was very disappointed Flynn wasn't there so he'd have nothing to do with her. :)
After getting her autograph, the two posed for some pictures and we said good bye. I'm sure we won't be waiting in that line again so unless we see Rapunzel walking around the park, we won't be seeing her.
We've never seen the movie so maybe after watching it some time, we'll have to come back and enjoy it again. But the kids loved being all the way up in a tree. And I remember when it was the Swiss Family Robinson tree, love that movie!
Of course, our musical man found the drums and enjoyed playing a tune for everyone. We really need to get him a set of drums. I can't believe I'm writing that. :)
Grandma and Barbara wanted to go on the Haunted House, which is a bit too much for us, so we took the boat across to Pirate Island. The kids love running through there and exploring.
