Apple Picking with the Lizano's in Julian

We headed out to our favorite apple orchard, The Raven Hill Orchard.  We've picked apples here for the last 3 years and love it.  We always stop on our way there at Dudley's Bread shop.  This year we ran into Tatum and Kaitlin's friend Sophie from kindergarten class.  How cute are they?!  And look at the height difference!  Tatum and Kaitlin are the tallest girls in their class, and I'm pretty sure that Sophie is one of the smallest. :)

After picking out a few loaves of bread and eating delicious sandwiches, we headed to the orchard.

Ty's favorite part is to pick and eat them right off the tree.  Yum!

Oh these boys.  We had a hard time filling our bags with these two around. :)

A fun family day!

To make it even more fun, we stopped at two wineries right next to the orchard.  This is another reason why it's our favorite. :)

At the second winery, the girls found a cat in a box. They named her Nighttime. :)  I was surprised that Nighttime sat still and let them pet her.  I guess she's the winery mascot and is use to getting lots of pets.
