Cowboys!!!!

Not cowboys on horses, bull riding.  The real Cowboys!  We were heading to a real football game at Qualcomm stadium with Jenny and Sadri to see the Cowboys!  We got to the parking lot around 11, which apparently was late because there were people with 50 in flat screen tvs set up connected to satellite which they had to set up pretty early in the morning.  Die hard!  Anyway, even though we only had about an hour or so to enjoy our drinks, sandwiches and dip, we made the most of it.

This guy was SOOOOOO excited to get in there!

And the game took off with a shot!  In the second inning, the Cowboys scored 3 touchdowns!  Here's one I got in action!

We were pretty high up in the stadium and the sun was beating on us, but well worth it.

Sadly, the Cowboys lost towards the end of the 4th quarter. So sad but we still were happy to get the opportunity to watch it in person!

Leanne and Ryan get married!

The day had finally arrived!  Leanne and Ryan were getting married at Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach and the view was beautiful!  Jenny, Jen and I took a photo op.

Garrett and I as well.  The weather was perfect, a clear, sunny day.  Perfect for a wedding.

Look at these two cuties! :)

Leanne and Ryan were joined by Isaac for the ceremony.

Now you may kiss the bride!

Jerry, Leanne's step dad, gave a moving speech.

And we had just enough time to grab some photos with the bride before they rode off on their cruisers.  I didn't get a picture of the cruisers but they had tied cans to the back of them.  So adorable.

I love this lady.  My bestie forever.  Just another chapter in her book and mine.  Love you hun!

Poway Rodeo!

The Poway Rodeo is back again!  We love going to the rodeo.  Especially Tatum.  She can't wait to get her boots on, with her hat and play cowgirl. :)  Here she is in front of the mechanical bull.  Nope, we didn't ride it. :)

Ty found his favorite display! :)

Grandma, the kids and I went ahead of Garrett since he was running late from work and we grabbed dinner from the food trucks and saved a place on the bleachers.  And soon the show began with a beautiful flag dance by girls and their horses.

Grandma, Ty and Tatum!

Ty was so excited that Daddy showed up.  And I took lots of pictures of all the calf roping, etc. but all the pictures were blurry.

Me and my favorite lady.

The kids loved the bull riding the best.  Ty was glued to the field.

And we headed home after the show.  My 3 favorite people.

Beat Breakers

Ty started his Beat Breakers dance class and loves it!  It's a hip hop and break dancing class.  Basically, the teacher Ms. A tells the kids that they can be anything but bored. :)  Here they are learning beats and tempo using their arms and legs.

And at each class, they learn a new dance.  Ty is awesome.  He really gets into it and has learned lots of new moves.  We'll definitely be sticking with this class for awhile. :)

Tatum gets to come along and watch, but also enjoys playing outside while waiting.  We were playing around with the Drama setting on the camera again and here she is jumping off a rock in action.

And running!

And running through the gazebo!

When Ty got out of class, he wanted to take an action shot too.  Love this!

Stone Brewery

On Labor Day, we met up with the Lizano's at Stone Brewery for some drinks and fun.  Their Escondido location has a beautiful outdoor area where the kids could follow trails, go over bridges and enjoy the falling leaves.  Here's Tatum with her bestie Kaitlin.

My big girl

Here's the boys.  We enjoyed a delicious meal and fun company.  A great way to spend a holiday.

A few weeks later, Garrett and I checked out the Stone Brewery in Liberty Station.  Lots of fun!  They have at least 4 different bars to walk around to, a lounge chair outdoor area and boccie ball!

We were playing with the Drama setting on the camera so here's an action shot of my sip.  Funny.

The weather was beautiful and we loved having some adult time to chat, catch up and just people watch.  So rare and so necessary.  We said we need to do this more often and we will.

Camping in San Elijo with the Arce's

Six months prior, I got on the computer and tried desperately to get a spot at San Elijo campground for September.  I wanted spot 61 and in seconds after 8 am, all spots were taken, including the one I was after.  Grrr!  Then I found out who won out and got spot 61.  The Arce's!!  So they were so nice to invite us down while they were camping and we joined them on their spot.  So fun!

It was beautiful weather that weekend so we got out the boogie boards and did some surfing.  Tatum enjoys safely sitting on the board, far from the waves. :)

Ty and Keira enjoyed the water guns...

And Tyler loved to be pulled on the boogie board.  What a natural!

Daddy tried to help Tatum with some surfing, this was her face after a few attempts.  She said she'd like to stay away from the waves. :)

Ty loved being buried! :)

I didn't take too many photos I guess.  But we loved it.  Our spot was right on the beach at a cul de sac so the kids made friends and enjoyed riding bikes around the circle and climbing trees.  They played soccer, trucks, dinosaurs and the adults enjoyed mimosas and beer. :)  Lots of fun!  Thanks Arce's for the awesome camping weekend!

Dave Matthews Band concert

Here we are again.  The parking lot of what we once called Coors amphitheater, now Sleeptrain and next month I'm sure it'll be called something else.  Dave Matthews Band is back!  Shauna and I have been going to these concerts for years, and Erica and I were going a few years before that!  We don't need to say how many years but you get the point.  And every concert had some fun, wild stories from the parking lot. :)

Nick brought his scooter so we all enjoyed a few joy rides.

Then it turned into a competition of course.  First it was Leanne and Ryan against Garrett and I.  The girls had to drink a few sips of our drink, get on the scooter and drive out and around a cup and back where the boys shot gunned a beer and jumped on the scooter to make the same loop.  It was timed and Leanne and Ryan won by a few seconds!  Nick wanted to get in on this too so him and I paired up against the champions.

We really gave it our all but we lost by 2 seconds!  But it was worth it, lots of fun!

Leanne and a few others were enjoying cocktails that they'd make from this cooler.  Others were just enjoying beer.  One way or the other, we were all having lots of parking lot fun!

We call this a bromance.  Garrett and Nick sharing a fun ride on the scooter! :)

After some parking lot dinner, we headed into the concert to grab our spot on the lawn.  I had been talking via text with a friend from high school that I hadn't seen in years.  He works for the band and said he'd love to meet up with us.  He text as soon as we were settled on the lawn so we said good bye to the boys and waited down by the stage for Ryan.

And after catching up with Ryan for a bit, he offered to take us to the pit.  Are we kidding?!  We asked if we could run to get the boys but he couldn't get all 7 of us in.  So us 4 girls headed down knowing that if we left the pit, we couldn't get back in.  And oh my gosh!  We were this close!  I think my whole life I've been trying to get down to the front to see Dave.  To just have a chance to have his sweat fling my way.  And here we were!!!  I could see the muscles in his arm flexing as he played the guitar!  Oh, a dream come true!  I text Garrett to let him know where we were and that I wasn't ever leaving.  He laughed and said that was cool.  He knows this has been a long dream of mine.  Such a sweet hubby.

We were living it up!

What an absolutely amazing experience that we'll never forget.  And we owe it all to Ryan.  Definitely the best night ever!!!!
