Camping in San Elijo with the Arce's

Six months prior, I got on the computer and tried desperately to get a spot at San Elijo campground for September.  I wanted spot 61 and in seconds after 8 am, all spots were taken, including the one I was after.  Grrr!  Then I found out who won out and got spot 61.  The Arce's!!  So they were so nice to invite us down while they were camping and we joined them on their spot.  So fun!

It was beautiful weather that weekend so we got out the boogie boards and did some surfing.  Tatum enjoys safely sitting on the board, far from the waves. :)

Daddy tried to help Tatum with some surfing, this was her face after a few attempts.  She said she'd like to stay away from the waves. :)

I didn't take too many photos I guess.  But we loved it.  Our spot was right on the beach at a cul de sac so the kids made friends and enjoyed riding bikes around the circle and climbing trees.  They played soccer, trucks, dinosaurs and the adults enjoyed mimosas and beer. :)  Lots of fun!  Thanks Arce's for the awesome camping weekend!
