Our trip started in Ojai where Erin Stevems and Ryan were getting married at a beautiful hotel. We had golf cart service! |
The service was under a huge oak tree and everything was flawless, even beautiful Erica. |
Here comes the bride! |
And the ceremony was even more spectacular. Here comes Erica! |
And the beautiful bride and groom! |
We enjoyed the photo booth! |
The next day, after breakfast, we said good bye to everyone and headed up to Monterey Bay. On the way Ty jumped out and got working! |
We survived the drive and everyone was happy to arrive at the Monterey Bay pier! |
An otter! |
And we enjoyed a delicious dinner after we sampled all the clam chowder along the pier. |
And always love shopping! |
The next morning we enjoyed the Aquarium and it was beautiful! |
A penguin show! |
He is seriously the cutest fish! |
Whales spouting! |
After lunch we drove the 17 mile drive and just like everyone says, it is pretty impressive and at every turn there was some beautiful scenery to look at. The kids loved getting their feet wet. |
We stopped to check out the famous and oldest tree in Monterey. |
The next stop was The Lodge at Pebble Beach. We all enjoyed a drink as we gazed out on the gorgeous backdrop and watch the golfers at the 18th hole. |
Longing to play. :) |
Enjoying the high life! |
Catching the sunset after dinner. These two are adorable! |
We said good bye to Monterey, headed down to Carmel and took our Christmas pictures on the beach. |
And look at this sweet girl, looking so cute! |
And a pretty one with Grandma. |
We stopped at the Mission where Junipero Serra is buried. |
There's his tomb |
Then we headed down the coast, here's the famous Bixby Bridge! |
We stopped in Big Sur at a famous restaurant, too bad the name and town is escaping me right now. But while we waited for our table, we enjoyed this little sitting area. |
Yet again, some gorgeous views! |
Before we left, the kids had to have some fun in this old phone booth. They thought it was hilarious! |
We stopped at a place covered with beached seals. They were all sunbathing and enjoying a slumber! |
Then we arrived at Morro Bay and look at our view! |
After dinner, we enjoyed this sunset and then walked along the shops and the kids got ice cream. |
Good bye beautiful Morro Bay! I loved the trip and I think the family did too. So much scenic coast to cover and we did it. |
