Summer fun in June!!

The fair is in town!!!  We headed out to see it with Tamara and Ellie.  The kids got to ride the tram from the parking lot in the front seat with the driver!!

It was wristband day so for $35 a kid, they rode as many rides as they wanted!!!  Here's a huge gorilla they all needed photos with!

They're still little enough to ride on these little rides!  Not for long!

Ty's favorite, a shark!!

Another day, we headed up to Irvine where Tatum, Ty, Grandma and I went to Lucille's, delicious!  Ty had a root beer float!

And Tatum enjoyed a smoothy!  Grandma and I had delicious wine of course and shared a whole rack of ribs, so yummy!

For Father's Day, Garrett took us to this aquarium down near Chula Vista that we'd never been to before and we had lots of fun!  Ty loved the sharks of course, and so did Daddy.

These sting rays kept coming up out of the water, almost as if to wave hello. :)

It was all out on a natural reserve, really pretty out there.

And it wasn't just water animals, but all sorts of local animals like this owl and other snakes, birds and mammals.

And Ty lost his first tooth!!!  It had been wiggling around for a long time, grossing me out.  The tooth fairy came and brought him $2 I think, or was it $5.  Either way, a lot more than I ever got, but we heard from a friend that it really depends on how many other kids lose a tooth that night.  If there aren't many, you might get lots of money.  Apparently a lot of teeth were falling out the same days mine were. :)

I signed the kids up for a  few camps and when I arrived at Ty's science camp, his friend Collin was enrolled as well!  This led to a wonderful play date one day...

Tatum was enrolled in Lake Poway Day Camp with her friends Kaitlin and Ellie and they enjoyed a trip to Belmont Park!

At the end of the month, I got up to Irvine to celebrate Lee's birthday a little late and see these wonderful girls.

The beginning of a summer full of pool fun!
