Amber's Bachelorette

Only two months till Amber's wedding and time for some girl fun in downtown San Diego!  We started with some celebratory drinks in the room.

Some of the girls set up this photo area in their hotel room so Shauna and I had some fun with it. :)

Off to the first spot of the night!

Here's Toni, Shauna and I enjoying some dinner and drinks and watching the show at Shout House.  It's a dueling piano bar where the guys playing the pianos take requests and pull people up on stage to do crazy things.  The place is a blast and we had a wild time laughing and watching the show.

Amber and the girls!

After many dollar bills and requests, they finally pulled Amber up on stage and made her dance to that song that goes, "Shake, shake, shake your body, shake your body down".  You know the one.  It was great, they had her dance, then gave her this tambourine to shake.  Then gave her a stick of sleigh bells to shake...
and then handed her this shaking weight, we've all seen on the infomercials.  Hilarious!  She was a great sport.
Then it was off to Vin de Syrah.  The club's theme is Alice and Wonderland so you had to find the entrance behind a wall of ivy and when you got inside, there was a long Mad Hatter table, umbrellas hanging from the ceilings, etc.  Really cool place and the music and crowd was fun.  Here's Toni, Caty and I enjoying the place.
Toni and I found a couch on the dance floor! :)

Then Shauna and I were talking to this weird guy and he pulled out his cell phone and it was covered in bright blue jewels!  I wish you could see it better here in Shauna's hand but it was hilarious.  He was a good sport about us making fun of his jeweled phone and even let us take a picture with it. :)

The five sisters. :)

The next day, we headed down to the hotel pool for some fun in the sun.  Can you tell the bride-to-be was having the best weekend?!

And she wore this adorable tank top that Shauna made for her, too cute!

Then we got ready for night two.  It was black and white night of course.

And we all had cards from a bachelorette deck that asked the bride to do something crazy.  We had to help her complete the activities so here's one: get a guy to take his shirt off for you.  Mind you we were in Yard House. This guy didn't hesitate ripping his clothes off. :)

Then here's another card: Get a guy to dance with you.  I don't know as Amber even had to ask this guy, I think he just volunteered. :)

And then of course get a guy to give you a kiss on the cheek.  I think we only got three of the cards completed but oh well, had a fun night anyway.

Some of the wedding party.

And my girl.  We were the old maids of the weekend and we survived.  We had a fun time and can't wait to see our Amber walk down the aisle and take this next step in life.  So exciting!!!
