Crazy fun in Irvine

Leanne's birthday was last month but we finally got around to celebrating her 35th with a bbq at Ryan's place.  Nothing like some vodka soaked watermelon. :)

My man

Jenny and Sadri

Leanne and Ryan.

All 35 years old now.  And friends for many years.  Oooo how I love and cherish my girls.

And how Sadri cherishes dessert. :)

Every time we're in Irvine, we HAVE to make time to play with our wonderful friends.  Tatum and Mattie have been BFFs for their whole 5 years of life!

And we've been friends for 32 years!  Wow!

Then we headed to Medieval Times for the first time, so fun!

We all got yellow crowns because we were on the yellow team.  We had some time to enjoy the waiting room so we did some shopping and drinking.  Always necessary.

Love the crown Grandma!

Tatum loved looking at the white horses, they were beautiful!

And then it was time for the show.  They put us in our yellow section and we got lucky to be at the end of the row so there was room for Ty to walk around a bit.

Tatum loved waving our team flag. :)

They had this beautiful white horse come out and start the show with tricks, bowing, galloping sideways, with no saddle.  It really looked beautiful.

Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow! :)

Here's our knight, looking strong and promising!

And before the games began, the king came out for a speech.

The games began and they had many events such as sword tosses, jousting, etc.  Our knight did an awesome job and was one of the last standing.

Ty LOVED all the sword fighting and jousting.  He stood over here in his little area waving his flag and fist pumping, so cute!

Everyone was all smiles all night.

At the end, our knight was the winner and he saved the princess and was able to pick another princess from the audience to receive a crown and flowers.  Our knight walked up to our row and we were all sure he was going to pick Tatum but he stopped just before us and picked another little girl.  Shoot, maybe next time! :)  But we had a wonderful night and enjoy replaying all the jousting and sword fighting at home.
