Free Tuesdays at Balboa Park

At Balboa Park, where we have all types of museums, Tuesdays are free day for entrance to certain museums.  The 4th Tuesday is free day at the Automotive Museum so we headed down there to check out all the cool cars.  Nice Lamborghini Tatum!

Ty took this picture, he's getting pretty good!  If we could just get him to be a bit taller. :)

They also had motorcycles, Ty's favorite.  Here's his favorite bike in the place.

And this is Tatum's favorite, she liked the color and all the mirrors.  Such a girl. :)

And the boys had to get a picture in front of the car from the Back to the Future movies!

 

And Grandma's favorite car, an oldie but goodie.

The Air and Space museum was also free so we headed over there to check out all the planes and space suites, the kids loved it!

They also had a 3D movie we checked out.  Tatum, Garrett and Grandma thought it was great but Ty and I didn't like it.  The seats moved and it made us ill.  I guess we won't be going to a 3D movie together. :)

After the Space museum, we enjoyed our picnic lunch and then checked out the Museum of Champions.  Not my favorite museum but they had lots of sports memorabilia, Garrett and Ty enjoyed it.  We hope to be back and enjoy another free Tuesday and catch the Museum of Man and the History Museum, my favorites!
