More pumpkins...

Tatum and Ty went to Tanaka Farms on Saturday with Mattie and Isaac and had a wild time running through the corn maze...

and hiding in the corn maze...

and riding through the corn maze.

Then the long pumpkin picking process commenced...

Ty settled on the first one he was giving. :)

Two pumpkin heads sticking out of a pumpkin.

Like the shirt says, the cutest pumpkin that visited the patch. :)

Halloween is coming!

We love Halloween and it's just around the corner. Every where you look there's pumpkins. Even princess pumpkins! :)

Both kids needed some cleaning up so I thought I could throw them in with the laundry. Tatum told me that wasn't going to happen but she was happy to sit in the basket for a photo with her brother. :)

We saw some more pumpkins when we were at Disneyland. We hadn't been since June so we were so excited to be back in the happiest place on earth.

And back on It's a Small World, love the air conditioning!

So does Mattie!

Bates Nut Farm

Today we visited the Bates Nut Farm where they had a straw maze, hay rides, petting zoo, pony rides and a large pumpkin patch. Tatum loved the straw maze and enjoyed being the leader.

She also got a kick out of the outhouse they had. She called it "her house"!

She was such a nice big sister to hold her "baby pumpkin" and pose with the pumpkins.

Ty slept through most of it but was all smiles when we got home. I can't believe he's already two months old!

Memphis, TN

We took a trip out to Memphis, TN for my cousin's wedding this past week and had a blast. I thought this picture really summed up the feeling of the town. Nothing like having your rifle set out on your back patio for easy access. :)

We stayed in a condo at the Inn at Hunt Phelan, an 1828 restored Antebellum mansion where the wedding reception was held. A really beautiful building and wonderful condo.

Love the red door!

After getting settled in, we made sure to hit up all the local attractions such as the famous duck walk at The Peabody Hotel. Tatum loved this and the duck master invited her to sit right up at the red carpet with Daddy.

Ty loved his first trip and was happy to do anything, even hang out in the condo and visit with his Grandma Dini whom we don't get to see very often.

Then we checked out Mud Island and took a ride on the monorail...

walked through a giant replica of the Mississippi River...

rode a paddle boat...

and took a trolley ride. What a day!

The next day we went with family to Graceland. Interesting but definitely wouldn't do it again. Actually, I don't think we need to go back to Memphis again. It was lovely but a one time trip.

We checked out the famous Beale Street where you can carry your "Big Ass Beer" from bar to bar. Too bad I was carrying Ty, didn't feel carrying a "Big Ass Beer" with a baby would have been acceptable. Well, it actually might have been, there. :) This is where a lady told me my child was "a big whopper with cheese!" Apparently he's large for two months old.

Then the wedding, so much fun. This was Tatum's favorite part of the night. The cake!!

And here's the beautiful couple. We all had a wonderful time at the wedding and wish we had more time to spend with all our family. I guess my other cousin Derek is just going to have to get married soon so we can do it again. :)

Lastly, we went to the National Civil Rights Museum, which is held at the Lorraine Motel, the location Martin Luther King Jr. was shot. A very interesting and enlightening place.

On our last day there, Grandma Dini flat ironed Tatum's hair and this was the best picture we could get. She looked like a different person! I guess she was afraid that the curls wouldn't come back but after a dunk in the bath, things are back to normal. :)
