The San Diego Zoo with Grandma

A few years ago we stopped renewing our Zoo pass.  We love the zoo but there are just too many fun amusement parks around here to belong to every one of them.  But in October, it's kids get in free month so with every paying adult, a kid gets into all the parks, museums and fun places for free!  This called for a trip to the zoo!

We say all the usual favorites...

and these animals were pretty cute! :)

Then we walked over to Balboa park for some beautiful pictures and happy hour at The Prado.

We're so lucky to live here in San Diego!

October moments

October was filled with lots of fun.  Here we are cheering for our favorite Cowboys as a family!!!

A very special guest stayed with us for a few days and this boy even got Garrett's heart!  Oliver is an English Cocker Spaniel and just the sweetest little boy.  He was only 6 months here and we spoiled him rotten!  We even had him sleep with us the last night, whoops! :)

While Tatum was busy at a birthday party, the rest of us enjoyed a crazy day of lazer tag!

Lots of wonderful time with Grandma!!

And lots of fun watching Tatum in Fall Ball!

Camping in San Elijo!

Ty's field trip to Oma's pumpkin patch!

Hair cuts and styles for these three.

I love the tude!

And when your hair is looking good, it's going out to dinner time!  Olive Garden!

This guy got to put the face on the new jar of peanut butter!

Silliness at Creepside!

The St. Michael's Fall Festival.  We ran into Cam and April with August and these two were like two peas in a pod!  They kept running around playing all the games and we could barely keep up!  They decided they wanted to get their hair styled together.

Mohawks!!

And fun with Grandma of course!

Love this wink

We had a special Halloween dress up party at Grandma's house before it was even Halloween!!

One of my wonderful wine night gangs.  I love these girls, so uplifting and supporting.  I'm so lucky to have a few of these groups in my life!!

Fall Ball

Tatum loved softball with the Queen Bees and really loved her coach Jason so she couldn't wait to sign up for Fall Ball, which is the off season softball league.  It only ran for two months or less and they would have two games on Sundays but all in all, awesome experience!  Here's Tatum crackin' the ball!

Tatum's favorite part about softball is batting.  She loves it and has quite a swing.  Her batting average for Fall Ball was .75, pretty good!

And here's on tournament day!  At the end of Fall Ball, all teams complete in a weekend tournament where they work down a bracket and compete for top team.  Tatum was a little nervous since this was her first real tournament and she seemed a bit timid and nervous this weekend.  But what an awesome team she had!!!

The girls fought hard and were one of the last few teams standing.  Unfortunately they lost but really, we all won after such an amazing season and awesome coaches!

Way to go Tatum!! :)
