Tatum's 4th Birthday Party!

Wow, what an amazing day. Tatum has been talking about this day and looking forward to it for the last month. Almost every morning she would ask, "Is it almost time for my Pump It Up birthday party?" :) And finally, the day arrived!
Tatum and 15 of her favorite friends enjoyed 2 hours of exhausting bouncing fun at Pump It Up, where they have numerous bouncy things to climb in, over, around and slide down. Here is Tatum with her friends Addison and Kaitlyn working their way through the obstacle course.

They made it!

Here's Matt and Jack with Garrett and Ty, enjoying the boxing ring.

And here are some of our youngest guests, Kylie and Cam with their daddy's Jeff and Sadri.

Shauna came too of course and joined in the fun. We love GM!

My hat man. If there's a hat around, Ty wants to wear it and sing. :)

Tatum with her BFF Mattie. These two girls are so cute together. They've been the best of friends since birth and I know it'll last forever.

The whole gang!

Tatum is a princess through and through. By age 1 she was requesting tights, dresses and tutus. :) And at age 4, she hasn't changed much. It was hard to get her to wear jeans to her birthday because she wanted to put on a fancy dress. And she wouldn't have any other cake besides Disney Princesses of course. Cinderella lights up!

The kids had a half hour in the party room to enjoy drinks and fish,

and then some yummy cake. Even Ty picked up a fork and dug in. He's definitely got mom's sweet tooth.

Now it's present time! Tatum got to sit in a huge princess chair and open all her gifts, she loved it.

And she had lots of helpers, so cute. I love that half the time she'd open a gift and I'd say, "Oh my gosh, you got a __________!", she'd say, "I already knew I was getting it, _________ told me already." :) I totally remember being so excited for my friends to open my gifts, I guess that is a lot for a 3 or 4 year old to keep to themselves.

Fun, Fun, Fun

A fun play date with Colin and friends. This is the only picture I got of the kids but Tatum loved playing with her new friend Luke and Ty always loves time with Colin.

A fabulously fun Princess Tea Party at the Disney Store with Mattie and friends!

The girls were given a crown,...

answered trivia questions about their favorite princess characters, balanced sugar cubes on tea spoons,...

and decorated their own tea cup!

After the tea party, we headed to the Corner Bakery for lunch. Such cute girls.

And then later in the weekend we met the Jazayeri's and Leanne for fun at the Spectrum. Here the girls are riding motorized animals. Very strange but they loved it. :)

Blogging Overload

Ok, so I haven't posted since Christmas and I'm sure you can guess why. That 24 days of Christmas idea kind of burnt me out. :) But also, we haven't been up to too much craziness, just enjoying the holidays and goofing around. We went to a new kids place called Kidding Around with our neighbor Veronika and her three children and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a great way to blow off some energy when it was pouring outside. Ty loved these cars!

Here is Shauna, Jacquie and myself ringing in the new year. We went to enjoy a wild night at Rancho Bernardo Inn where there was going to be dancing, drinking and party favors. Well, since not a soul was on the dance floor and the party favors were paper blow horns being passed out from a plastic store bag, we headed home to Shauna's comfy couch to get silly and watch the ball drop.

Our favorite kid's band Hulaballoo was playing at our favorite winery, Bernardo Winery, so Shauna and my mom joined us for some rockin' fun. My children were a little hesitant at first as you can see...

but slowly loosened up when the musical instruments were passed out.

A still photo doesn't do justice to Ty's dance sway. After collecting as many maracas as he could get his hands on, he started his butt boggy, too cute.

Someone brought a bubble machine. Bubbles and kids are like cats and Catnip. :)

And we finally took our very first trip to Chuck E Cheese. Wow, did I have some flashbacks! But I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the pit of balls. Well, relieved I guess since I know the amount of germs that are in those pits, but still kind of missed it. :)

Tatum loved the merry-go-round of course...

and Ty and Daddy loved the Vroom Vroom games. :)

Here's a picture of Erica and Jack joining us back over at the Bernardo Winery where Hulaballoo played again. This place is so beautiful, lots of wonderful places for pictures. And lots of great wine. :)
