Happy New Year!!!

The day before New Year's Eve I made a reservation for us at Chick fil a where Elsa and Ana would be arriving!  So exciting!  Tatum was a little intimidated to go up and talk to them. :)  Ty was over it since Olaf wasn't there so he went to play in the play structure.

But finally she built up the confidence and said hi!

She even got a hug!

Then we rushed home so she could get in her jammies and head over to a NYE party at Ellie's!  They decorated cups and glitter balls, then played wrap your partner in toilet paper!

Of course there was lots of paper to throw around!

They played a balloon game,...

twister and a few other fun games.  They had a blast!  Then Tatum spent the night, so fun!

Then on the real NYE we went to Dana and Sean's for a kids party!  These kids were so cute!  They loved the party hats and blowers, a little too much. :)  Here's Keira, Connor, Ty and Tatum.

We couldn't wait to see the ball drop!

Happy New Year!!

New York time of course, so 9 pm for us.

With sparkling cider shooters!

We headed home and snuggled on the couch to watch the ball drop at midnight.  Look who made it to midnight!!!!  Ty and I watched all the singers and he stayed awake to watch the whole thing!  I got my midnight kiss!  And then only a few minutes later, we were waiting for a singer, and when she came on, I looked over and he was passed out. :)  Such a fun family way to end the year.  This one has definitely gone by fast but has treated us well.  Who knows what we have in store but we have each other!

Christmas!!!

Christmas is here!  Jesus is born!!  Oh yeah, and Santa came!!!!

While the kids dig into Santa's gifts, I checked on the rolls.  Oh my!  Every year there seems to be an issue, and this year the rolls were literally rolling out of the pan!

But thank goodness, it came together and we had delicious monkey bread!

And after breakfast and mimosas, we divided the presents.  Here's Ty with his lot...

and Tatum,...

Garrett,...

me... and some how in the craziness, I guess we didn't catch Grandma with her pile!

I love that every time I turn around, I find these two cuddled up together.  More so Cali cuddled up again Harley, but so cute!

Oh, these two.  They are always together and so cute.

Here's a cute note that Tatum left for Santa, and he answered!

After cleaning up at our house, we headed over to Grandma's where Barbara had arrived!  I sadly didn't take any photos that night at the house, but we all enjoyed a wonderful meal and had a few more presents to open.  When we left, we decided to head over to Carriage to see the lights.  We love this neighborhood!  It was really cold outside so we didn't get out of the car, but fun all the same.

The kids had a wonderful day and were so blessed.  All smiles!

And we are pretty blessed, that's for sure.  We enjoyed a great Christmas together today, all healthy and together.  Feeling pretty good!

And look who was up bright and early with two of her favorite gifts!

After working on Friday, Tatum, Barbara, Grandma and I headed to the Del!

So fun seeing ice skaters on the beach!

This girl enjoyed hot cocoa...

while we enjoyed our drinks.

And live music!

And after dinner, Tatum enjoyed the Mootime!

On Saturday, we headed up to Arcadia to see the Beastons!  So fun!

First it was gift time and these two couldn't wait to rip into them!

Then it was silly time outside while watching the guys play corn hole.  Love these crazies!

Such a wonderful night with our second family.
