Grandma Dini comes to San Diego!

We were so excited when Grandma Dini called and said she'd be making a surprise flight from Phoenix to visit us since we'd be missing the family Thanksgiving this year.  Garrett had to work so she flew out to see us instead!  She flew in on Saturday and we had a fun day of playing at the park, playing four square in the front yard, and getting Christmas presents!  Then Sunday we headed up to Mission Viejo to a party at Leanne's new house.  Too bad there was a horrible accident on the freeway so it took us over 3 hours to get there!  By the time we arrived, they'd already started eating!  But no matter, we got there, enjoyed dinner and lots of fun with our friends.  Here's Tatum with Mattie and Colbie.

Soon the boys took over the spa and got crazy!

The next day, we took Grandma Dini to Knotts Berry Farm for her first visit.  Here's the inside of the old school house.

There's not too many rides Ty will go on at Knotts.  So here we are, waiting for the others to come down the log ride. :)

They made it!  Grandma Judy is behind Grandma Dini, I think she was using her as a shield from the splash. :)

Then we went on the mine car ride, no Ty again.

Grandma Dini and Tatum decided to go on the ferris wheel and got this great picture while waiting in line.

While Ty and I went on the bumping buggies.  Yeah!

That's Ty way over there on the bridge but isn't this a cute little river running through Camp Snoopy!

Ty found these cars you pump and loved it!

Tatum was a bit nervous on the ferris wheel but was glad to be on with Grandma Dini.  Cute selfie!

 

Ty couldn't wait to get over to the bumper cars, his favorite!  This is when Grandma Judy realized she lost her camera.  Bummer.

We ran over to catch the Snoopy Christmas show, very cute!
