Ty's class ice sculptures!

Ty's class brought in lots of frozen water shapes and broke into groups to make different sculptures.  Lots of fun!

Ty was in a group with Charlie, Kaden, Max L, and Guilherme.

Ty brought a few shapes, including this blue colored water bottle.

Lots of different shapes!!!

Big Bear vacation with the Nevens' family!

Erica and I organized this awesome two nights in Big Bear for the family!  We found this amazing condo within walking distance of Snow Summit that our families could share at a great price.  We came in on Thursday and while the men hit the slopes for some boarding...

we got the cabin ready.  This beauty was in our kitchen!  The place had two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs with a little kitchen, dining area and family room downstairs.  Perfect for us!

After settling in and some McDonalds, we found a little sledding area.  And it was little, more like a slight decline, but we made it work!  Erica and I got a workout by catapulting the children down the hill but they loved it!

And these were the only two that would humor us with snow angles.

I love time with my bestie!

They all made a snowman too!

This wooded area was so beautiful as the sun was setting.  About this time is when the kids were all having meltdowns.  Too wet, cold, tired, frustrated, and Erica and I just had to laugh!

So we headed back to the cabin for more snow fun and for a drink for us!

The next morning we checked the kids into a ski camp, look at this cutie!  He was so excited for this!

And this girl too, she had taken a camp a while ago but was eager to give it another try.  She was going into a older group alone and was a bit nervous but she made a friend in no time of course.

The boys were given lunch but we got to pick Tatum up at noon to eat with us and hear about her day.  She loved it!

These two enjoyed a childless meal and drinks!

We hit the bunny slope a few times before Tatum had to go back to class and she showed us what she'd learned already.  She was a natural!  We picked the kids up about a half hour before the place closed and they both went on the bunny slope again to show us all that they had learned.  Ty was not such a fan and even though there were lots of tears, he got down the slope and showed us a few moves.  That one is a bit stubborn to say the least but one day he'll love skiing!

And all of us enjoyed free time on the slopes, best day ever!

Such a fun family vacation...

And especially with these guys!

After a long day on the slopes, we showered and got in jammies and had fun at the condo.

It always fun with this girl!!!
