A Dream come true

My little man has been such a good sleeper lately, all night and two naps during the day. We're just getting to the point where I think he's ready to go to one nap but I don't think I'm ready to give up the nap myself. :) But he's just so cute when he sleeps, I love it.

Sadly enough, I only got one photo the night we had our Fam gathering and here it is. Ty absolutely LOVED Jeff and wanted to be in his arms all night. Such a sweet pair. :)

It's so hard for Erica and I to get together but in the last two weeks, we have been lucky enough to have had two fun hang out days where we just sat at my house and let the kids play. Here's Jack showing his great standing skills!

Look at all the fun we can have in the garage! :)

Not that I feel this by any way is the best photo of Erica and I, but Tatum took it and did a pretty good job!

And here's her photo of Jack! He's giving his "You want a piece of this!" look. :)

And here are the boys doing "boys" type things. Just sitting around. :)

Ty didn't want Jack to look too cute in the photo, hence the arm block. :)

Friday night was very special. Tatum, Daddy and I went to Mickey's Magic show!

The show was excellent, lots of wonderful characters, and quite a few princesses which had Tatum in a flurry.

Especially when the fairy Godmother turned Cinderella's rags into a beautiful gown and the prince arrived to dance. So exciting!

Our little Cinderella.

And what's a show without some blue shaved ice in a Minnie Mouse cup! All in all, a wonderful night with Disney! And thanks to Lee for babysitting Ty so we could enjoy the show!

What a perfect San Diego weekend!

We had a really fun filled weekend in our own hometown. It started off with a trip down to our favorite park at the bay to see Erica and Jack. Look at these cute boys with their matching hats!

Getting a little shaded sand time!

I love Jack's little scowl, too cute!

Then we met our friends Mandy and Ellie at a fun park in La Jolla. Ty is such a big man now. He's climbing up on all the play equipment (which keeps me up and at attention) and loves to give these sweet looks. Love these chubby cheeks!

Then we kicked off Friday with a fun trip to Golf Galaxy where Tatum and Ty were playing a game of peek a boo in the golf bag section which ended in a game of dominoes (or almost all the bags knocked over!) After we cleaned that mess up, Daddy wanted to check out a club in the club section. Tatum, while thoughtfully explaining to Ty why one needs golf tees, walked right into a large club display, knocking down the sign and almost all the clubs! And on that note, we headed out (I'm sure they were happy to have us go) for dinner and to Baskin Robbins for dessert. Ty has taken a liking to ice cream and when he didn't get his own cup and let us all know how he felt about that, Tatum was nice enough to share her sherbet...

which he enjoyed immensely. :)

Sunday we hit up a Padres game and sat in the Bleacher section with lots of friends. We loved it! So much fun, lots of room for the kids,...

to hang with friends,...

and a sand pit! Gotta watch out for that flying sand though. :)

We thought it was quite funny when the workers came over and told some of our friends that we were not allowed to stand next to our children and we would have to return to our seats. We wanted to thank them for offering to baby sit our kids while we sit and drink but we were sure that's not what they meant so we sat on the wall of seats next to the sand box, luckily there was room. But strange request.

Here's Ty with his BFF Colin. These guys are so great together and getting so big! I love this pic of Ty, he looks like such a brute!

This guy came around asking the kids to throw a ball in his hat and if they made it, they got some tattoos. Tatum loved it!

On Labor Day we headed to the bay for some fun in the sun with some friends from out of town. But unfortunately, there wasn't much sun, it was actually a bit cold. But we still had lots of sand fun!

Tatum wore her suit and even took her cover up off and we walked way out to the water (must have been low tide) but when it came time to put her feet in, it was a big no.

Ty loved digging and playing in the sand. He loved knocking down Tatum's sand castle the most. Typical boy. :) Lots of fun for a Labor Day weekend!
