Last two weeks in Irvine

We've had a busy two weeks in Irvine and I'm just finally getting a chance to update the blog. The whirl wind week started with Leanne's shower. Look at her cute little tummy!

Shannon Carlin brought her son James and he really took a liking to me. Or was it my hair?

Of course, Tatum wasn't too happy about me holding a baby. She kept tugging on my leg and saying "Up, Up!"

After the fun was over it was down to work. My uncle's daughter and family came into town and helped us clean out his house as we're putting it up for rent. Tatum got right down to work.

In the midst of the cleaning, Elizabeth Tatom and her husband Joe came by to say hi. We were hoping to take my uncle up to a family reunion this summer in San Francisco which will be held at Elizabeth and Joe's church. Unfortunately we can't make it but hopefully next year.

They have concerts in the park every Wednesday in Tustin so after a hard days work, we took the family to hear an Irish rock band and everyone enjoyed it.

Tatum put a smile on but was feeling under the weather. She had a fever and on the drive home started screaming and holding her head so I thought maybe she had an ear infection. We stopped at the urgent care and the Dr. informed us that she probably just had a virus and it would clear up on it's own. I think the two molars coming in were causing her some pain.

After the fever cleared up Tatum was back to her old self, enjoying a few items she found laying around Uncle Tom's house.

Over the weekend we went up to check out some property in Lake Arrowhead. Tatum's favorite part was the playground, Mommy's favorite part was the view, it's so pretty up there!

Then we went to a concert in the park up there. It was a classic rock band and Tatum enjoyed dancing and making friends with the kids that sat close by. The adults enjoyed a cold beer after a long hot day!

When we got back to Irvine, Tatum was able to squeeze in some fun play time with her BFF Mattie. They enjoyed sharing sippy cups and then the next day Mattie had a fever and a soar throat. The sickness continues!

Things finally calmed down today and after a fun day at the park and just hanging around the house, we finished the day up with a home cooked meal of canned beans. Who couldn't love canned beans straight our of the can?!
