Grandma Dini's visit - Part One

Garrett's mom came to visit us and we've had lots of fun ever since she got here. Her first night we had a bbq and smores, yum!

Ty wasn't too sure about torching the marshmallows. :)

Even though the weather was pretty bad all week, we were still able to get out and do a few fun things. Here we are at Bates Nut Farm where we enjoyed a hay ride,...

hay maze,...

Tatum and Nadine collected all 8 of the stamps!...

enjoyed bouncy houses and slides,...

and pumpkin picking. The pumpkins were enormous!

Ty's not sure how were going to get these pumpkins home... :)

but he loved climbing up on them.

We finally settled on five wonderful pumpkins. What a fun but muddy day!

Even though Grandma was visiting, we still had a few regular activities to attend, like Tatum's dance class. She loves ballet class and looks forward to it every week.

Grandma brought keep sake hand print kits which were fun...

and then we went to Seaport Village. It was still a bit cold but lots of fun.

Especially the merry-go-round. Note Tatum and I having a wonderful time and poor Garrett with Ty death gripping his shirt. He's still not a fan of the merry-go-round. :)

Ty had his first hair cut and sat so still and patiently.

Then it was off to Ty's music class that we take with Erica and Jack. The boys love it and enjoy taking it together.

Ty loved having Grandma Dini there.

Here's the whole class.

We had a garage sale where Tatum set up her treats table with lots of yummy goodies she made with Grandma. She wore her school shirt and donated all the money she made to her classroom, $40! What a great learning experience for her.

Even though the weather was still pretty yucky, we were able to hit one of our favorite parks in La Jolla.

Look at that sweet man. He loves the swing.

And Tatum is an awesome big sister that loves to help push her brother on the swing.

We had a Chargers vs. Patriots party where lots of friends came wearing their team shirts. Here's the activities in between games.

And here's the girls wearing their shirts.

Ty made a new friend Sheldon. Practically every time he sat down, Ty wanted up in his lap so they could watch the game together. Too cute. I guess we know who to call when we need a baby sitter. :)

Then it was time to get serious about Halloween and decorate some pumpkins. Grandma Dini brought these cute kits that you push into the pumpkin. Look at all our scary monster pumpkins! Ty would actually rather be golfing. :)

But Tatum loved it and liked the Princess one best.

Here's Ty having a golfing lesson. He takes his lessons very seriously and practices often. Daddy is a happy man. :)
