We've had a few busy weeks and I just realized how behind on the posts I am. To start, some girls and I ran in a
boot camp challenge two weekends ago. We were
GirlsgoneRunning and all survived the rigorous
obsticles and 5K. Our favorite part was the marines yelling in our faces, or was that encouraging us? :)
I wish I could say we actually took the boat out for some fishing but we just took the cover off and cleaned it out. Ty couldn't wait to get in there and drive the boat!
Some girlfriends came over and brought their babies so the boys had lots of fun playing. It was hard to catch them all at once but here's Colin and Jack playing with a pile of toys Garrett dumped out for them. Garrett was the baby sitter and did a wonderful job of entertaining the boys. Thanks babe!
Here's a pick of Colin and Ty playing peek a boo through the blinds. They're so cute running around together. Susan (Colin's mommy) said she saw them back in Ty's room where they'd pulled out a basket of toys and were sitting together playing. So cute!
We had a fun birthday celebration for Mandy at the park where we brought her cupcakes that we got to decorate ourselves!
Opps, that little belly of hers got to the cupcake first. :) Happy Birthday Mandy!
Look at these sweet girls, so proud of their cupcakes. :)
Ok, Garrett would die if he knew I was putting this picture up. Lately, Ty's favorite thing to do is try on shoes, of all kinds. Here he is sporting one of Tatum's fancy princess shoes. Any shoes works! :)
And since football season is in full force, here's where my boys are usually found. :) I love how their legs are the same.
It's been REALLY hot lately (it was 104 degrees the other day) so I took the kids to the mall. We did a little shopping but the rest was all about cooling off and having fun. Here's Tatum riding a small merry go round.
Ty wasn't allowed on since he is too young but he got his turn to sit in it after it ended. He LOVES to drive things, anything with a
steering wheel. He's also started making noises for his cars,
vroom,
vroom. It's so cute.
Then we hit the play area before grabbing some lunch and getting home for rest.
We headed up to Irvine this past weekend and while there, we decided to take the Balboa Ferry over to the Fun Zone. Ty loved the boat and all the water. Tatum kept asking where all the ferries were. :)
Leanne joined us and since I'm not a big fan of heights, her and Tatum enjoyed the Ferris Wheel.
Then we met up with some friends and rented a little party boat.
Here are the men keeping us safe on the water.
Tatum got her turn to steer too!
And we brought yummy appetizers and wine which made for a delicious meal on the water. We even caught a quick glimpse of the sun setting, beautiful.
