Last Sunday we left Irvine and headed straight to the
Welk Resort in Escondido to see Garrett's step brother Brian and family out from Phoenix. His wife
Thi Thi and their three beautiful and very well
behaved children, Vanessa, Ian and Emma, all welcomed us warmly and the kids got right into playing tag.
While Brian grilled some delicious chicken, the kids climbed this hill. I couldn't believe Tatum got up there too! She's the one on the far left. She got all the way to the top! Ian stayed with her the whole way and held her hand all the way down, such a sweet gentleman.
Here's Brian and Ty getting acquainted. The last time they had seen Ty was when they were out here visiting last June, so he was a little 10 month old.
Their villa overlooked this beautiful lake and the kids had fun collecting sticks and doing some pretend fishing.
