Tatum's last day of preschool

How has this day already come?!  I feel like it was yesterday we were taking Tatum over to NCP for her first day of school, and now it's all over.  We wanted to show our appreciation for Tatum's teacher and helpful staff so we put together these gifts the night before.  We made chocolate chip cookies, yum!

And here's my preschool graduate!  We decided to decorate her preschool shirt so I ironed on the front GRAD right under North City Preschool and then Tatum colored and decorated the shirt.  Her teacher Ms. Kristin gave her this framed picture of the two of them, Tatum loves it!

I also ironed on KINDERGARTEN to the back and wrote Here I Come underneath.  Tatum loved her shirt.

For the last day of school, they had fun fair where the kids enjoyed obstacle courses, treasure hunts and then this messy area.  Here's Tatum with her friends Colton and Grace getting their hands dirty.

Even Ms. Kristin got in there!

They had a car wash area with shaving cream.

Feels funny!

Here's Kelsey showing her car washing hands. :)

Anna and Tatum enjoying the water table.

And Kelsey and Tatum finger painting with shaving cream.

Then, after a pizza snack, the kids wrapped things up in their classroom and said their good bye's.  Everyone wanted to sign Tatum's tshirt, so cool!

Here's Tatum and Colton, her good buddy.

And Ms. Kristin, she'll be greatly missed.

And the class.  Tatum loved her last year of preschool and walked away with lots of new experiences, new friends and a head full of knowledge!

I brought "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Suess for Ms. Kristin to sign.  Tatum watched over her shoulder since it was very important to her.

We walked around the school and said good bye to the wonderful staff at NCP.  Here's Ms. Vicki, who sits at the front desk with a smile.

And Ms. Lawson from last year.  We're hoping Ty will get her this coming fall!

And Ms. Karen, an amazing school coordinator and wonderful teacher.  I would have had a hard time getting through this day if I didn't know I would be coming back with Ty in a few months.  I can't imagine leaving for good, such a wonderful little school.

After all the good bye's, we met some friends at the local park for some summer fun!

Here's Tatum with Kaitlin, Janelle and Sarah on the swings.  These four are great friends!

Enjoying jello from the Asian market, yum!

I put together a summer basket of fun for both Tatum and Ty a few days before.  Ty actually helped me pick some of the things out at the store but did a wonderful job of not telling Sissy what the presents were. :)

Ty and Grandma were back at the house while I went to pick up Tatum and play at the park.  I didn't get a picture but they hung a banner on the front door that said Congrats Grad, Summer's Here! and hid behind the car in the front driveway as we walked in and yelled surprise at Tatum!  She loved it, and then they swung open the door and found their basket of gifts.  So much fun and Tatum definitely felt like the special graduate that she was!  On to the next stage for her!
