| A few weeks ago, Ty and I decided to play hooky again and we headed to the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. Entrance is free on every first Tuesday of the month and Ty had been dying to see the dinosaur exhibit they have there. |

| I thought it might be a bit much for him to process but he loved it! He enjoyed looking at all the pictures, touch the hands on items, and talk about all the fossils and different kinds of animals. |

| He loves snails so seeing this huge see snail amazed him! |

| They also had a bug exhibit with all kinds of beetles, snakes, etc. Here was a mummy case with meal worms in it! Ewww! |

| We were also lucky that Keira was able to join us. Ty LOVES Keira, these two go together like peas and carrots. :) |

| Keira brought her classmate along and all three had a great time! |

| Then we headed to the play park for a picnic and some outside time. It was a beautiful day! |

| And the kids loved throwing pennies into the big fountain. Along with making funny faces of course. Another perfect day of hookie! :) |
