Back to Campland on the Bay

Before we headed to Campland, Tatum and I enjoyed a special treat on her first day off from school.  Summer's here and that calls for a pedi!
With pretty feet all set, we headed to Campland on the Bay!  I use to camp here a lot with my family but I hadn't been back in years.  This trip was extra special because not only were Leanne, Ryan and Isaac joining us, but the Lizano's as well!  Tatum's bestest friend!  She was so excited to have Kaitlin come since usually Isaac and Ty have each other and she's kind of left out.

As soon as camp was set up, these two got right down to business.  Love it!

We all tried to sport the poof, but I think mine kind of fell.

After dinner, we headed down to the concert being put on in the park.  Garrett left us just before dinner since he was bartending with a friend for a wedding.  He missed all the fun!

The ladies. :)

And thanks to Ryan, the kids had cool glow sticks!

The girls on their rides.

The next day, we grabbed a spot on the bay and enjoyed lots of fun in the sun.

We were also enjoying our girlie drinks. :)

All the kids loved being at the bay and playing in the water.

These two are really too cute.  So sweet and they get a long so well.  I hope they're friends forever!

The men.  Garrett made it back to camp and got right into sunning.

The little boys.

It's not very often this happens. :)

Sadly, the Lizano's had to head home that evening since Ian had a fever and felt awful.  We missed them but after dinner, we all headed down to the concert park again for some more music and glow stick fun!

The night time was a bit rough at this camp ground.  Since it was summer, it was packed and every site seemed to have numerous families on it.  Also, even though it's quite time after 11, we head lots of late night partying, car alarms, kids talking in their tent about subjects our ears didn't want to hear till 3 am!  Ugh!

But besides that, we had a great time.  Especially going down to the market and buying fun things like these blinking ball necklaces that Ty unknowingly had on his butt. :)

After riding around after Kaitlin all weekend, Tatum got home and was ready to take her peddles off her bike. She coasted a few times, got the hang of the balancing act, and when Garrett put the peddles back on, away she went!

She was so proud of herself and so were we!  Now she says she can't believe she didn't know how to ride a bike, it's so easy. :)  Oh Tatum, many more of those ah ha moments to come. :)
