Final days of school!

Wow, how is it possible that I'm posting this only a few days from the beginning of a new school year!  Where did the summer go?  I realized I skipped over this post somehow and definitely need to share the last days of school and all the fun.  I organized our end of the year gift for Ty's preschool teacher and here it is.  I modge podged pics of each of the classmates on a flower pot and then planted a pretty indoor plant for her classroom so she'll always have these cute faces in class.

Ty LOVED Mrs. Friessen and was sad to say good bye to her.  Luckily, she'll still be at the school so we hope to stop by  and say hi often.

Here's silly Ty with his bros and teacher.  A wild last day of school.  Ty enjoyed his first year of preschool and all he learned.  He's a great cutter, knows all his shapes, colors and counts to almost 20!  He also loved story time and of course, recess. :)  And he's looking forward to another fun year at North City Preschool!
And look at these almost 1st graders!  Kaitlin and Tatum sporting their matching sun glasses, they couldn't be cuter.  They've become quite inseparable this year.  Total besties!

And here's my big girl heading off to her last day of school.  Sporting her class t-shirt and a sharpie to get lots of autographs.

And here's the presents she took to Mrs. Kirchmeier and Ms. Bush.  She couldn't wait to pass them on.

Last story time.

The final day was filled with fun crafts with friends and lots of laughs.

And signatures of course. :)

BFFs!

Then class headed outside for some wet fun!

Everyone got a few tries to hit some targets with water balloons and this huge sling shot!

Tatum with Nina, Scarlett, Kaitlin, Madeleine, and Lila.

Look at Madeleine's focus!

Then after a pot luck, it was time to say good bye to kindergarten.  Each kid went up to receive their graduation certification.

She did it!!!

The class of 2013!

Tatum absolutely LOVED her kindergarten experience.  She enjoyed her sweet teacher, taking little books home every night and learning to read, alpha friends and homework pages, Arts Attack projects, friends, field trips, and lots more fun.  A wonderful year!

My little graduate.

And there's no better way to end the year than with a delicious cup of Golden Spoon!

Tatum got invited over to a friend's house to swim so Ty got to open the front door and find the summer basket!  Lots of great summer toys, activities and fun!

And it wouldn't be the end of the school year without a traditional trip to the drive in.  Lots of fun!!!
