Erica returns!!!

The week before Erica came to town, the kids took one last week of swim lessons.  They both did an awesome job and we really saw lots of growth and improvement in both of them.  Tatum is swimming!  And Ty put his face under and even jumped off the side of the pool!  One day they had a safety lesson so he's Ty pulling his classmate in to safety using a floaty.

He loved this and after class told me that if I ever fall in the pool, he'll save me. :)

 

But after the kid's last swim class, Garrett came home and I rushed off to meet Erica and Erin for drinks!!  A weekend in a hotel downtown!!!  What a beautiful view we had from our room!

And after a night of shinanagins, here's Erin in the front seat, guiding us back to the hotel.  We had yummy drinks and apps at Cheesecake Factory, a drink at the hotel, a few drinks and more food at West Coast, and then met up with Liz and hit a new bar in North Park.  Fun night!

And we had more fun the next morning when we headed to PB for old times at World Famous.  Breakfast right out on the boardwalk with lots of champagne.  The table next to us was leaving and offered their left over champagne.  We must have looked like we could handle it. :)

And then the pool at the hotel.  Both nights we had a blast!  So much catching up, laughing, fun times.  I was so sad to see Erica get back on the airplane.  But we'll be together soon!  I'm hoping to see her again this summer!
