More summer fun in July!!

I sign the kids up for a few different camps throughout the summer, every other week or so, so I can get my work done but also so they can learn lots of new things and meet some new friends!  Ty took a science camp for a week through the City of Poway and he loved it!

Here they are showing what happens when you put Mentos in a soda bottle!

On warm, summer nights, it's a perfect time for a drive in movie!  The kids enjoyed Inside Out!

Grandma and Tatum signed up to sell donuts at church early one morning and they loved it!

Here's a fun day we took Daddy to Aquatica, a water park down south.  This was our first time here and we all had a blast!

I enjoyed the lazy river but mostly lounging in the sun. :)

What a cutie!

Even our hater of water loved the lazy river!!

As we were packed up and about to leave the park, we were stopped so the flamingos could parade back into their den.  So cute!!!

I'm sure we showered the night before and this is what happens to Ty's hair when he goes to bed with a wet head.  I thought it was very fitting that they formed two horns. :)

Grandma and I went to the fair, just the two of us, and enjoyed a few displays and places that I obviously didn't get to with the kids.  Such as this room dedicated to the fair theme which was State Fairs of the Past.  Here's a few things that were invented or got their start at a state fair

This is my favorite fair food item!

After checking out the wood sculptures, gem area, and paintings, we went to the collection area.  I thought Ty would be pretty impressed with this mini fig collection!

And after admiring all the plants, we enjoyed a glass of wine at this adorable bar!

4th of July!!!

We had a few friends over for some outdoor fun and food and then headed to the fire works show over in Rancho Bernardo.

Everyone was decked out in their red, white and blue!

July also brings outdoor repairs and improvements.  We ripped out all the very old and dying rose bushes and planted water tolerant plants.  Garrett worked hard repairing sprinklers  and planting and I was overseeing and sipping. :)

Summer is perfect for slumber parties on the couch bed!

Barbara was able to get some free passes to Sea World so we all joined her!  Here is the fish tank at the entrance where the little fish clean your skin.  So weird!

This guy was hunting for his breakfast!

A cute otter having her breakfast!

These two goof balls!

Either ride a raft or a turtle!

We caught a few shows like the dolphin show...

and the Cirque show.  Barbara's friend was in it so we couldn't wait to see her!

So cool!!!

In the afternoon, we all needed a refresher...

Ok, no, I'm just kidding, these two wanted to pose like this with beer and wine in their hands but rest assured, they didn't consume. :)

Now THESE delicious drinks they were able to drink, yum!!!

Before Barbara left, we had brunch at Mainstream Grill and the adults enjoyed some adult beverages. :)

Ty enjoyed a VBS camp at North City Presbyterian and they put on an awesome show for us at the ice cream social at the end of a fun week!

Lee came down to do a conference at Paradise Point so we enjoyed a nice dinner date!

Tatum took water sports camp again this summer and of course, loved it as always.  If only I could get Ty interested in this, then I could work and maybe lay out at the beach while they learned all about water activities!

But Ty enjoyed a week long Minecraft Lego camp and had just as much fun!

One afternoon Garrett took the kids to meet Tanya and her girls for free bowling!!  Summer is pretty awesome!
