Spring Break

Here's just a few things we've been doing to keep busy around here.  It was rainy one day, so what better way to entertain ourselves than to dress up every Barbie in the house and set them up for a beach house party. :)

It was time for both kids to get a hair cut and Tatum kept saying she wanted to cut hers off.  I couldn't disagree more but figured that she has power in very few avenues of life so make a decision on her hair should be one of them.  Anyway, the hair stylist suggested she donated so she had 8 inches cut off and sent it to Panteen to be made into wigs for kids with cancer.  She was so proud of herself!

Ty wanted a fauhawk, too cute!

We had a fun family day where we had a picnic, went to a movie, then hit a winery on the way home for some live music.  Great family day.
Here's a fun outing to the mall with Grandma.  Both Tatum and Ty had turns on the fun ride on toys...

Then we took Ty to Build a Bear for his first time.  He loved it!  Here he is adding his heart to his bear and stuffing it.
Then after a cleaning and dressing, we took Baa Baa Black Bear home to meet the other Build a Bears we have.
Here's the whole group!  Including the large white bear, Tree Tree, that Garrett and I made together the first year we were together.  Millions of years ago. :)
Colin, our neighbor and Ty's good friend, has come over to play a few times in the last few weeks since his new brother Rhys arrived.  The boys get along so well and love playing together.
Train time!
Bubble fun during a warm day.
Ty's getting really good at blowing bubbles.
Tatum's a bubble pro and can catch bubbles she blows.  Look at this neat picture we got!

My MOPs group put on an Easter Egg hunt in the park and the kids loved it.  They each got 12 eggs filled with goodies.

Ty was running everywhere and got his 12 quickly.

And then on another day we met our friend Ellie and her mom Tamara and fed the ducks and fish at Poway Lake, had a picnic and enjoyed the park.

Look at the big cat fish!  They loved the bread and came up to enjoy the crumbs.  Lots of fun over spring break.  Now we're ready for summer!
