Bates Nut Farm

Before I write about our trip to Bates Nut Farm, Tatum and I were passing the time while Ty was in his Beat Breakers dance class.  We were having fun playing around with the Drama setting on my camera phone and these are the pictures we got.  So cool!

You push the button and it takes numerous shots as the subject moves.  4 Tatums!

Here she is running through the gazebo.

Ty had to get in on the action too and look how many Ty's we got in this picture!  Lots of fun. :)

Anyway, back to Bates.  We hadn't been to Bates in a few years since the last time we went, it took us over an hour to drive 3 miles.  The parking lot gets so crowded, it's ridiculous!  So this time we got up early and got out there before we had to wait long.  We hit the hay maze first.  The boys against the girls.  Who could get all the stamps first.  And the girls won!  Here's Ty and Daddy looking forlorn. :)

And the winner!  She's also holding the new Sleeping Beauty she got from a garage sale.  Only $1!

Then it was off for some bouncing,...

and sliding.

This was a pretty steep slide and when Ty got to the top, he shook his head and said no way.  Garrett was standing next to the side and talked him into trying it.  And of course, he loved it!  What a brave boy.

So many pumpkins!

Ty found a keeper.

These two are such characters.  I love the thumbs up. :)

We ventured into the large pumpkin area.

The kids were sure we needed this one.  No way!
A few silly poses on some really big pumpkins.

Ty loves taking pictures and did a pretty good job here.

What silly parents! :)  And what a fun day at Bates Nut Farm!
