Halloween!

The night before Halloween, we got our pumpkins out and started carving.  Grandma Dini sent us some cool Halloween fun like this pumpkin carving attachment for the drill.  Can you tell Garrett is enjoying this?!

Everyone got their own pumpkin this year and we doodled out our ideas on paper and then got to work.  Tatum had a difficult time deciding on her face.  She had so many ideas!  And Ty wanted to stick the fun face plastic pieces in his pumpkin, but then carve on the other side.  So creative.

And here are our finished pumpkins!

Tatum's is on the left, her pumpkin has eye lashes as you can see and she also carved her name on the back and it's lit up backwards on the bricks.  Daddy made Spiderman's face which turned out awesome!

In our package of goodies from Grandma Dini, there was also a set of plastic pins you put in the pumpkin and make a face, which is how I decorated mine on the left.  And Ty's is on the right!  He did an awesome job drawing out what he wanted and Daddy helped carve it.

And on Halloween, we got ready and headed to the Lizano's for a party.  Look at our super heros!

At the Lizano's, the kids enjoyed pizza and fruit dinner and then some wrestling on the lawn.  The parents enjoyed drinks of course and some appetizers.

All the kids got their glow jewelry on and they were ready to go!

We split up this year since there were so many kids.  Ty wanted to go with the big boys so Daddy followed him.  The two of them had a system down.  Ty would go up to the door, get his treat, and run back and put it in his pillow case that Daddy was holding.  He'd also tell Daddy what he got and who would probably like to eat it. :)

Tatum went with me and the girls and hit quite a few houses.

Tatum's favorite part of Halloween is getting back to our house and handing out candy so we buzzed home but sadly, only had a few more trick o treaters.

What a fun night!  We missed seeing our neighbors at our usual neighborhood party but we definitely enjoyed ourselves and we're so lucky to have so many wonderful friends. :)
