Halloween Parades and Parties

Aw, the Halloween parades.  Or, for Ty, the animal parade since his christian preschool doesn't allow celebrating Halloween.  But one way or the other, Ty was excited.  And super excited because he was the best kind of turtle around.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!

I made sure to call the school and clear with them that this was actually considered an animal.  Tatum didn't seem to have a hard time with being an animal, I think there's many more girlie animals out there.  Cats, butterflies, etc.  But strong, scary, rough animals for a boy, there aren't many.

Here's all the classes lined up and ready to walk.  You can see Ty at the far left next to his friend Blaine, the Angry Bird, another acceptable boy animal. :) 

And the parade begins!  Here's Ms. Cullison, Ty's teacher, leading their class as Perry the Platypus. :)

And on Halloween, Creekside puts on a school wide parade around the field.  Here's Tatum's teacher Mrs. Kirchmeier in her jersey, about to pop!  She's leaving for maternity leave and this is her last day. :(
