25 Days of Christmas, Day 10

Day 10 was a day for the adults to celebrate a little bit of Christmas cheer. :) We had our neighborhood holiday Progressive Party where about 18 of us get together for appetizers and drinks at one house, dinner at another house, and dessert at a final house. First stop was at Matt and Leslie's new house up the street. Note on the ugly Christmas sweaters in the front. I had suggested at Octobers Bunco night that we do an ugly Christmas sweater theme to this year's Progressive. Girls and guys wear ugly Christmas sweaters and the guys also wear 80's mustaches. I thought it was a wonderful idea but a few of the girls shot it down so it was a no go. But there must have been a miscommunication because two of the girls came in beautiful Christmas sweaters. Just wish we could have joined them! :)

I mean, come on. How hot would this group have been in mustaches?! :)

Jerry, the one carefully cutting the delicious smoked pork, is an amazing chef, and put together quite a spread for us. The boys were chomping at the bit! :)

Paige, Kate and I discussing Christmas sweater options for next year. :)

It was also Paige's birthday!

Susan and Kristin dishing up!

Michelle, our host, decided we needed to go around the tables and tell our happiest Christmas memory, a great idea.

Then it was on to Kate and Dan's for dessert. Costume change! :)

We were asked to put on birthday hats so we could sing to Paige. Hmmm...

I think this is what Kate had in mind,...

not this! :)

We are so lucky to live in such a fun, friendly neighborhood.

Happy Birthday Paige!
