25 Days of Christmas, Day 2

Today's activity was writing letters to Santa. The kids love this because they usually can't wait to share what they want! We use Christmas stamps, stickers and markers and after I write what they tell me, they decorate the letter and the envelope. No one really cares to draw much yet but they LOVE the stamps. Ty usually ends up with most of the stamp pad all over him, and much to my dismay, I have yet to find washable ink pads. :)

The finished products. It's hard to see what they wrote but it was all about themselves of course. None of that, "How are you Santa? Is it cold up there in the North Pole?" :)

And this year, Tatum said we put the letters in the fireplace. In one of her Christmas books, that's how Santa gets his letters so that's the way to do it. :) They're whisked away by the wind to the North Pole. But since they wrote these, two days ago, Tatum has come up with many things she wishes she could get on her list. And I said, if you want it, Santa just knows and sometimes you get things that you didn't even get down on your letter. He's good like that. :)
