Jeff and Laura Miller invited us to join them out in La Quinta for a weekend away with them and their two daughters, Sierra (almost 4) and Kylie (1). Jeff's parents own a condo out there with lots of room for visitors. They have two golf carts which we took out both days and the kids loved it! The first night we went out after dinner in the dark. We took the paths through the beautiful golf course surrounding the condos. But later, Laura was saying that there are coyotes and other wild animals up in the hills just next to the golf course. Thank goodness we came back alive!
It was a bit chilly that weekend so we skipped the pool and went to a cute little coffee shop for delicious coffee and scones, yum! There was a stage on the grass area next to the shop and the kids enjoyed horsing around, cute!
Steps from their patio at the condo is this pond and a beautiful view of the hills and mountains behind the golf course. Garrett spent the afternoon doing a little fishing while Ty napped and Tatum watched.

Tatum even got in there and tried. She loved watching the bobber but when a fish was caught, she didn't want any part of getting close to it. :)

The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and the ducks some bread, cookies, actually anything they could get their hands on.
The next evening we took the golf carts out before dinner, in the light, and went to a course across the street where we got to drive under a road through a tunnel, the kids loved it! And then we stopped and hit some balls off a tee, the kids all gave it a shot, very cute. Thank you Miller's for a fun and wonderful weekend away!!
