Tatum's first Creekside fieldtrip

On October 24, Tatum's class took their first bus ride to Oma's Pumpkin Patch and Dairy Farm, so exciting!  Tatum couldn't wait to ride the buss and even though there wasn't enough room for all the parents, I drove behind the buses and met everyone at the patch.  Here they are on a tractor ride through the farm.

The kids learned all about how a dairy farm works and got to see all the cows and their babies.

Here's Tatum with Grace and Sophie.

So many cows!  And they said it was pretty smelly up there. :)

After the tractor ride, they were free to enjoy the rest of the farm so they ran over to the seed hill for some sliding.

Tatum wasn't too sure what to make of it and at one point, had a sled but passed it to a friend because she said she was a little scared.  Not the same as snow sledding!

Next, she tried some bean bag toss.

And then the hay maze. :)

Then over to the petting zoo.  I'm so proud of this picture.  Tatum was my child that would NEVER get close to the goats or go near a petting zoo.  And look at her now!  Ok, so she looks pretty apprehensive, but at least she's trying!

Then it was cow milking time. :)

All the girls enjoyed this one and stayed at this station for quite awhile. Here's Tatum's friend Kaitlin and behind her is Regan.

Lunch time!

And play time.

Here's Tatum with her friend Scarlett riding an ATV!

Tatum loved these and kept asking if we could take one home.  Sadly, we have one in the garage!

The last activity was to pick a pumpkin to take home on the buss.  Hmmm, this was a hard decision to make.  Why was this such a struggle for both my kids?

Regan found hers!

And Madeline found hers!

Kaitlyn found hers!

And finally, Tatum found hers. :)

Class picture, so cute!

And Tatum with Grace and Kaitlin.  Tatum loves her friends and her teach and loves going to school.  And she LOVED riding the bus.  The big attraction is that you don't have to wear a seat belt!  The kids couldn't get over this, so funny.
