Thanksgiving school fun

Tatum's school had a trunk show.  I wasn't aware what a trunk show was so I didn't go to participate or watch.  Apparently, it's a group that brings old clothes, toys, etc. in a trunk and talks to the kids about the "olden days".  They let the kids dress up in clothes from the times and here's Tatum with some of her classmates.

Thank goodness Sarah's mom had enough sense to attend.  How cute is this?!  They got to play with toys from the olden days, and they learned how to make stone soup.  For their Thanksgiving feast, Tatum's classmates all brought something to put in the soup and they cooked it together.  A different Thanksgiving feast from past years but Tatum loved it.

I was able to help set up Ty's Thanksgiving feast so I got some pictures before the masses were let in.  Each class had their table set with crafts that they had made.

Here's Ty's masterpiece.

And his good friend Colin's.

Look at this spread!

The kids came in and stood by their chair, gazing at the delicious meal.

Ty couldn't wait to dig into his chicken nuggets, apple slices, veggie sticks and corn cake.  Yum!

And Colin was ready too!

Here's Blaine, Ty's other very good friend.  They started out sitting next to each other but I think these two can get pretty wild, so Mrs. Friesen quickly moved Blaine. :)

After they said their prayer...

it was time to dig in!

Cheese!

Here's Ella with her mom Valerie.

And the Bell's were there too!

Ty absolutely LOVES Matt so they had some words and a cute picture together.  What a fun feast!
Gobble Gobble!!!
