On the ninth day of Christmas...

We made Christmas paper! We got out the Christmas stamp set and stickers that I got at the 99 cent store and some markers and the kids went to town.

Ty had a hard time understanding that the pens weren't for sucking on and drawing on his shirt too. But I was impressed at his interest in the project. I thought, for sure, he'd make a few marks and be done. But he got right in there and really put out some effort. It's funny how the two of them are so different. Tatum isn't interested in drawing or being artistic in the least. She won't even draw much, would rather use stickers, paint with her fingers, scribble. And Ty loves anything with art, loves to paint, color, scribble, and he's only 16 months. I guess they're just different little people. :)

So here's the finished project! We can't wait to wrap something for Daddy in it. We also watched Charlie Brown's Christmas last night, which is a tradition in this house. Merry Christmas!
