We started the day taking Tatum to her first movie at a theater. She was so excited! We saw Tangled and we all loved it! Grandma Judy and Shauna joined us and the best part was the popcorn and candy! :) I was
surprised that Tatum sat still for the whole thing, only wanting to sit on my lap at the end when it was a little scary.
Then we headed to the Hotel Del on Coronado for some Christmas cheer. We took a picture of Tatum when she was little in a chair like this at the hotel and this time it was Ty's turn. Such a big boy.
And then we took pictures in front of the big tree that they put up every year in the main lobby. Each year it has a different theme and this year it was candy canes and ginger bread.
They put up an ice skating rink out in front of the hotel, next to the beach so you can skate right on the beach. Tatum wasn't ready to try skating again but loved to watch the skaters. Before getting there she was hoping to see some of the moves she had seen the night before on an ice skating special on TV. She was a little disappointed.
The boys watched a little skating as well but were more interested in the puddles that were forming on the ice since the temperature outside was almost 90 degrees!
We headed out to the beach and had some fun in the sand.
And then Garrett, Mom and I were happy to hit happy hour and enjoy some nachos, wine and beer.
And then we were just in time to catch the sunset, so pretty. This is California in December. :)
